DVC Win NFRC Gold Award in Health and Safety
Investing in staff training has paid off within the business, with support from the CITB and quality training companies in the North East. DVC Roofing has resulted in being awarded the NFRC Gold Award in Health and Safety.
About the NFRC Gold Award
The National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) is the UK’s largest roofing trade association, representing over 70% of the roofing industry by value. With a history spanning almost 120 years, NFRC has established itself as the voice of the roofing industry, constantly adapting to change and innovation to ensure its members are at the forefront.
This NFRC Gold award demonstrates the best Health & Safety standards and practices within the roofing industry, something which we’re extremely proud of. The scheme aims to promote health and safety amongst member companies and recognises those that have taken positive steps to reduce accidents and implement a safety culture throughout their business.
How We Did It
The NFRC recognised that DVC Roofing had comprehensive health and safety procedures in place, complied with all relevant statutory requirements and Codes of Practice, carried out ongoing training and achieved a consistently low accident rate.
We’d like to congratulate all of our tradesmen and those involved in DVC winning the NFRC Gold award and we hope the hard work will continue.
