Project Goals and Objectives:
Key goals included reinforcing the building’s structure, addressing moisture issues in the existing roof, and integrating a solar energy solution to reduce carbon footprint and energy costs. Methodology:
Structural Reinforcement:
DVC Commercial Roofing Contractors conducted a thorough structural assessment to identify areas requiring reinforcement. Other structural steelwork support was strategically added to ensure the building could withstand the weight of the new roof and Bauder solar panels.
Moisture Management:
Utilising advanced moisture mapping techniques, DVC found localised moisture in the existing roof buildup. Areas showing signs of moisture were selectively replaced using the Bauderflex roofing system, minimising material waste and maximising efficiency.
Solar Roof Integration:
Canford Audio and DVC opted for the BauderSolar PV System 124.32 KWP, comprising of 326NR 420W Bifacial Double Glass high efficiency mono-module solar panels. The system was carefully installed to optimise energy generation while seamlessly integrating with the building’s structure.
