25 years ago, I started on a journey that would shape not only my career but also my life. With an ambition and a determination to succeed, I started my own roofing business. Little did I know, this endeavour would become the foundation of my future I am immensely proud of today.
In those early days, it wasn’t uncommon to find my daughter by my side as I tackled the challenges of running a business. Balancing parenthood and entrepreneurship was no easy feat, but it taught me invaluable lessons about resilience and perseverance.
The roofing business is not for the faint of heart. It’s demanding, physically and mentally exhausting, and often comes with its fair share of setbacks. However, through it all, I learned that success isn’t just about weathering the storms – it’s also about how you navigate them.
One of the key lessons I’ve learned over the years is the importance of investing in the right people. Surrounding yourself with a dedicated team that shares your vision and values is crucial to building a thriving business. Together, we’ve weathered countless storms, both literal and metaphorical, and emerged stronger every time.
