Congratulations to Natalie on her 6th year work anniversary at DVC. We couldn’t be more pleased to have had her on our team for the past six years. As our Operations Manager, she plays a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, projects stay on schedule, and clients are consistently kept up to date on progress. 

Natalie has made excellent progress in her career at DVC. She joined as an Accounts Assistant and now manages the financial team. She is also taking management training, further enhancing her leadership skills.

1. What does a typical day look like for you as an Operations Manager at DVC?
A typical day at DVC is never ever the same. It can range from management accounts to cashflow to final accounts and CVR’S or even organising materials for the site.

2. What skills have you developed most over the last six years?
My skillset has changed massively since starting at DVC. My background was finance and accounts, which has now changed to roofing knowledge, buying and Quantity surveying, which runs hand in hand with my finance background.

3. Can you share a bit about your management training course?
I honestly look forward to each session of the course. The knowledge I am gaining will massively benefit me in helping push myself and the Ops team to deliver every job to the highest standard possible. Also, become a manager that everyone can come to.

4. How has DVC changed since you joined?
DVC has grown from strength to strength since I joined 6 years ago. The changes have all been positive, making it a brilliant place to work with an amazing team of people.

5. How would you describe the company culture in three words?
Small, close-knit family like team. Everyone gets involved and helps in any way they can.

6. What are you looking forward to in the next year or two at DVC?
Completing my SIM course and totally transitioning into my Operations role.

7. How do you unwind after a busy day?
Long walk with my GSD x Whippet x Greyhound Dog, Dudley.
