We are delighted to announce here at Durham roofing specialists, DVC, that our Business Manager, Pauline Davies, has been awarded the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) Health and Safety 2014 Champion award at their 10th UK Roofing Awards on Friday 15th May 2015.
The Ceremony
The UK Roofing Awards have become an industry-wide event that recognise and reward outstanding standards of workmanship and safety within the roofing industry.
This year’s winners were announced on Friday 15th May 2015 at the UK Roofing Awards Luncheon, which was held at the Hilton London Metropole. This year’s host was BBC Breakfast presenter, Louise Minchin.
Pauline has always promoted the importance of health and safety within the workplace. So much so, all of our tradesmen are CITB certified and are required to undergo our rigid Health and Safety procedures.
She is continually on the lookout for new methods and products to enhance our Health and Safety policy, which is testament to the work she has done to receive this award.

Over 1,000 guests attended the event, and the whole day was enjoyed by everyone from all sectors of the Durham roofing and nationwide roofing industries.
