We are thrilled to welcome Tavis as our new Commercial Director at DVC Commercial Roofing Contractors. With 13 years if experience in the construction industry, Tavis brings a wealth of knowledge across commercial roofing.
About Tavis
Tavis has 13 years of experience in construction, primarily in roofing and cladding, progressing from Assistant Quantity Surveyor to Commercial Manager, and most recently Divisional Director. Throughout his career, he gained expertise across both commercial and operational roles, delivering complex projects while expanding his skills and leadership experience.
Q: What attracted you to join DVC Commercial Roofing?
What attracted me most to DVC Commercial Roofing was seeing how much the company has evolved since I worked briefly with Darren six years ago. Alongside Scott, he has implemented processes and systems that truly give the team a platform to succeed. The opportunity to return to commercial management, while working within a close-knit supportive team, was something I was excited to pursue.
Q: What is a professional achievement you are proud of?
One professional achievement I’m particularly proud of is pushing myself beyond the comfort zone of purely commercial management to take on operational and project-based roles, broadening my skills and experience across all aspects of construction.
Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love spending time with my family, and I also help run an amateur football club. In my free time, I enjoy socialising with friends and staying connected with my community.
