Placefirst; South Hetton Road development – Completed
Project Overview
Works have now been completed at Placefirst, ‘Scholar’s View’, South Hetton Road development. Placefirst are committed to delivering the highest quality standards for their tenants. As part of their ‘Scholars View’ neighbourhood, these properties are perfectly designed modern family homes, providing a genuine alternative to home ownership. DVC Commercial Roofing Contractors were appointed as the main roofing subcontractor by Placefirst to carry out the total scope of works which took approximately 24 months to complete. The project consisted of 22 timber framed housing blocks totalling 116 properties of both 3/4-bedroom townhouses, and 2-bedroom bungalows.
Solution
Sandtoft was the specified roofing solution which included Sandtoft concrete TLE (thinnest leading edge) tiles, Sandtoft VPM (vapour permeable membrane), Sandtoft ridge tiles, and all Sandtoft ancillaries. The properties with Dorma windows were completed to the above specification in addition to utilising Sika Trocal PVC as the waterproofing solution for the Dorma roofs.
