Roofing Apprenticeship in the North East
DVC are looking for a Roofing Apprentice to join its expanding roofing business in the North East.
Based in Washington, Tyne & Wear, the successful candidate will be enrolled onto the CITB’s 2 year programme of Built up Flat Roofing Felt scheme at Newcastle College.
With 11 weeks per year class room based learning, this is an ideal opportunity for those aged 17 – 24 to achieve an NVQ Level 3 within the Roofing Construction Industry.
You will be required for 37 weeks of the year to work within squads covering the North East of England and National commercial roofing contracts, building your skills and learning on the job.
DVC are committed to training their staff; therefore you will also attend other courses and learn about our roofing products. DVC are members of the NFRC and have achieved the NFRC Gold Safety Award.
Ideally but not essentially, you will have a roofing background, and must be able to drive.
