This commercial flat roof project, initiated in March 2019 and swiftly completed within the month, marks the inaugural phase of a prestigious venture located in Manchester, UK. DVC Roofing, in collaboration with Moy Materials, spearheaded this endeavor employing a Protan single-ply membrane system. Phase 2 is set to commence shortly.
The installation comprised Protan EX-A-FB SA self-adhesive lead grey membrane with an integrated self-adhesive polyester fleece as the primary roof sheet. The plywood deck underwent priming with Protan primer, followed by the application of a torch-on VCL. Subsequently, the cut-to-fall insulation scheme was carefully applied using adhesive to ensure falls to the designated perimeter gutter.
